“The Gardens” NCA Greyhound Racing Track

Structural and civil engineering design services were provided by MPC for this $5 million development comprising construction of a new sporting field, greyhound race track, betting auditorium and kennel facilities, as well as modifications to the existing grandstand. Structural design for the development incorporated an earthquake analysis of the proposed modifications to the grandstand and the new facilities. Several shelter structures were also provided around the track. Civil engineering works comprised track setout and design section information for bulk earthwork preparation. Associated track kerbing and retaining structures were fully detailed by MPC for the development.
