MPC maintains vast experience in the structural and civil design of Shopping Centre Developments. MPC’s design approach is to maximize constructability, construction speed and cost efficiency. This is achieved by adopting structural elements and systems that have had proven success in many of the shopping centre developments that MPC have designed. Recent developments are: Hallidays Point Retail Development Rutherford Shopping Centre Parkes Shopping Centre Tea Gardens Shopping Centre Green Point Shopping Centre Lisarow Shopping Centre Northlakes Shopping Centre and Tavern Wadalba Shopping Centre Umina Shopping Centre MPC have refined the design and application of structural elements such as concrete footing and piling systems, pre-cast and tilt up concrete wall panels, joint free and jointed slab systems, and structural steel roof framing with panel or conventional roof systems. Through this experience MPC understand the fit out requirements of the large grocery store chains and have developed structural detailing to facilitate these requirements.
