Patinack Farm Equine Training Facilities
MPC provided civil and structural engineering design and documentation services for numerous equine training and agistment facilities for the Patinak Farm group. Training Tracks, Road Improvements and Studio Housing, Paynes Crossing Road, Broke NSW. MPC prepared track plans, long sections, cross-sections, set-out geometry, and bulk earthworks drawings, as well as designs for stormwater drainage infrastructure including open channels, basins, headwalls, pits and pipes, including sediment and erosion control designs for construction phase. MPC also provided full civil engineering design and documentation for road improvements to the intersection of Milbrodale Road and Adams Peak Road, Broke NSW, as well as structural design of floor slabs and residential framing for a new studio housing development on the property. MPC provided the structural design for a multi-purpose building used for heavy vehicle parking, storage of farm equipment and feed and a workshop at ground level, plus offices and a suspended mezzanine floor on Level 1. The building comprised precast concrete wall panels, footings, structural steel roof framing, and pavement floor slabs. MPC’s documentation included external paving plans, sections and details, as well as designs for stormwater drainage infrastructure including open channels, basins, tanks, headwalls, pits and pipes. MPC also provided civil and structural engineering designs for two new stables buildings with a total of 44 horse boxes, comprising precast concrete wall panels, structural steel roof framing, and infill concrete floor slabs.
Patinak Farm Training Facility, Beaudesert Nerang Road, Canungra NSW. MPC provided full civil and structural engineering designs for a new Manager’s Residence, Office Building, Stallion Barn, Breeding Barn, Prep Shed, Vet Barn, Round Yard, Studio Accommodation Building, Foaling Unit, and a Multi-Purpose building for this development. Civil engineering designs for the facility included access roads, culvert crossings, bulk earthworks, stormwater management and sediment and erosion control designs. The structural elements of the new Barns typically comprised precast concrete wall panels, structural steel roof framing, and reinforced concrete floor slabs. Residential buildings and offices generally comprised conventional timber framed construction. MPC also provided full civil engineering design and documentation for road improvements to the two intersections of the access roads from Patinak Farm, Canungra with Beaudesert-Nerang Road. MPC’s design works included pavement plans, long-sections, cross-sections, pavement details, bulk earthworks, set-out and line-marking.
