• Structure required to be built into existing embankment imposing significant lateral pressures onto the structure
• Foundation solution required consideration of limited site access and the need for speed of construction due to steep exposed embankment
• High corrosivity due to coastal exposure
• High lateral wind forces due to coastal exposure
