Harbour Pier Apartments

MPC Consulting Engineers were engaged by Austress Freyssinet Pty Limited to carry out Structural post tension concrete design services for the Harbour Pier Apartment complex. The Harbour Pier building is 10 storey’s in total, comprising ground, first and second floor commercial and carparking, with residential apartments over. MPC carried out design and documentations for all suspended slabs and beams for the entire project. MPC worked in conjunction with the project architects and engineers design documents to ensure that the detailed design satisfied the criteria set for the project. MPC were also engaged by Austress to carry out site phase inspection services for the suspended elements. Ferro Constructions Pty Ltd as the project builder required a coordinated approach in ensuring that the construction program was followed. As the post tension design is on the critical path, Austress required strict management to the design works as reinforcement scheduling directly followed MPC contract service.
