Maryanne Cantwell
General Manager
Maryanne has been with MPC since 2017 as General Manager and brings her 30+ years’ experience in strategic planning, business managing, development and coaching to our team.
Maryanne loves analysis and letting the numbers do the talking as well as providing positive, excellent service and solutions to colleagues and clients.
A proud career achievement was creating the Strategy to transform Pokolbin from one single tourist destination with one attraction (tasting wine) to Hunter Valley Wine Country, a premier world class destination with 5 sub-regions and 5 groups of attractions – wines, fine dining, experiences, arts, and events. Maryanne worked closely with the vineyard businesses to implement and grow this strategy and won a few Hunter and NSW Tourism Awards for Excellence along the way.
Outside of work Maryanne is passionate about a whole ton of things, being a thinker and philosopher type! Her two sons, family and friends and joyful adventurous times are at the top though.
If Maryanne didn’t have to work she would indulge her passion for swings and slippery dips and if she won $50m, after family and charities, she would build Awesome Pit Stops on our highways with long long slippery dips and amazing swings for the kids (and kids at heart), great coffee and food, fabulous loos, oh and a quiet nature room for the not so young at heart too.
